Partner and Head of Corporate Consulting
My name is Gordon and I am Head of LCP’s Corporate Consulting practice, ensuring that our clients benefit from our innovation and thought leadership to make the right decisions.
I help UK corporate sponsors understand pension risks and implement their pension strategy in the context of their wider business objectives. More recently this has involved the use of contingent funding options to balance stakeholder objectives and engaging constructively with trustees to agree an appropriate funding plan.
I work with several large financial services firms which sponsor DB pension schemes, helping them comply with pension risk regulations and adapting their pension strategies accordingly. I also work with large corporates on benefit change projects, liability management exercises and financial reporting.
I also sit on LCP’s Contingent Funding Options team, researching the developing market in this area to understand where opportunities may exist for our clients.
If you distil everything about LCP down to one thing, it is 'I trust what they are telling us'.
