I am a partner in LCP's award-winning pension risk transfer practice, as well as LCP's social housing and not-for-profit consulting teams.

I work with a range of clients, primarily advising them on their pension strategy and managing pensions exposure. This includes the implementation of buy-ins, buy-outs and longevity swaps. I advise the Trustee of the Marks and Spencer Pension Scheme on their longevity hedging strategy, which has resulted in six buy-ins completed to date, and the trustees of a multi-billion pound pension scheme on the execution of an innovative “umbrella” structure longevity swap.  I have also advised many smaller clients on the execution of buy-in transactions through LCP’s market leading Streamlined Buy-in Service helping smaller schemes access better buy-in pricing and terms.

I have extensive experience of advising housing associations and other employers in the not-for-profit sector. I provide advice to the National Housing Federation to help them engage effectively with regulators and policymakers on pension policy. Alongside this, I work with many employers who participate in multi-employer pension schemes, such as those run by TPT including the Social Housing Pension Scheme. I was a key part of the LCP team that advised Southern Housing on the first external transfer from SHPS and have recently supported many employers to exit the LGPS.
