Tim is a Partner in LCP's Pensions Actuarial practice. He is a member of LCP's specialist insurance de-risking practice as well as LCP's social housing team and charity pensions consulting team.
Tim Gilbert joined LCP's actuarial team in 2016. He works with a wide range of both Trustee and Corporate clients, primarily advising them on their pension strategy, including the implementation of buy-ins, buy-outs and longevity swaps. He is part of the LCP team that advises the Trustee of the Marks and Spencer Pension Scheme on their longevity hedging strategy, including six buy-ins completed to date.
He also has extensive experience of advising employers in the not-for-profit sector. In particular, he works with many employers who participate in multi-employer pension schemes, such as those run by TPT including the Social Housing Pension Scheme. He was a key part of the LCP team that advised on the first external transfer from SHPS.
