Time for schemes and regulators to do more?
Watch our on-demand webinar to hear about a new joint paper from LCP and Royal London on the hot topic of the future of DB transfer advice.
This is especially timely given the imminent changes to the FCA’s regulations around DB transfers, including the ban on contingent charging, and the growing pressures on advisers, particularly with reference to rising costs of professional indemnity insurance for those giving advice on DB transfers.
The paper includes the results of a new survey from Royal London of advisers active in the DB transfer market and case studies from LCP of DB schemes who have decided to support members by appointing one or more IFA firms to provide advice to members.
The event is chaired by LCP partner and scheme actuary Jill Ampleford, joined by:
- Justin Corliss, senior pensions development and technical manager at Royal London
- Sir Steve Webb, partner at LCP and former pensions minister
In addition to these presentations there is the opportunity to ask questions on the report’s findings.
