LCP won the Risk Reduction Adviser of the Year and the Educational and Thought Leadership Initiative of the Year awards at last night’s UK Pensions Awards 2021. They were also highly commended in the Diversity and Inclusion Excellent category.

LCP’s de-risking team have had a busy year, helping clients navigate the uncertainty of the market during the pandemic and helping schemes take advantage of pricing opportunities. The team led on 50% of all buy-ins over £100m during April to July 2020 when pricing was at its best.  In total LCP led on a record 18 buy-ins/outs over £100m in 2020 and led on 30% of all transactions between £10m and 100m.

LCP won the Educational and Thought Leadership Initiative of the Year award for LCP’s new ‘On Point’ papers, a new series of papers spearheaded by Steve Webb. The series was developed to challenge orthodoxy in the pensions and personal finance space, getting under the skin of public policy issues  that impact the industry and to help members better understand how their pensions work.
